It all began with printed sheet music hanging on the walls of a living room and a shared passion for folk music.
What started as a chance encounter between two strangers quickly turned into a kind of soul connection and a deep, meaningful friendship.

Years ago, we – Florian and Bartosz – started out with old folk songs, from Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers to classics by Bruce Springsteen.
Before long, we had the pleasure of welcoming Michael on violin to Kerygold.
What began as a chance encounter quickly turned into a deep friendship.
His violin solos still give us – and our audience – goosebumps to this day.
OUR STORY
Kerygold:
A Little Journey Through Time
In this constellation, we spent years playing weddings and events, performing at festivals like the Duckstein Festival, and even appearing in the Live Lounge of Radio Hamburg – all across Europe.
At the same time, Florian Künstler pursued his own musical career and successfully made a name for himself in the German pop scene. With hits like "Kleiner Finger Schwur," he is now an established artist. However, with his growing success, Florian had less and less time for Kerygold, and so the band project paused for a while.
But as life would have it, another chance encounter led us to an exceptionally talented musician: Alex Seeger. With him, too, a deep and lasting friendship quickly developed – one that continues to this day.
We are united by our love for both classic and contemporary music.
FORMATION

Alex Seeger is now our permanent lead singer. The line-up is completed by Michael on violin and Bartosz on guitar and bass drum—this is our current core formation.
In case of absences while we’re already booked elsewhere, we’ve got it covered: the wonderful Nils, Jonte, or Julian are available as substitutes.
You also have the option to book Jonte as a drummer or Meikel as a bassist—an addition we especially recommend for larger events and weddings.
Additionally, you can request Florian, though his availability is very limited.
